TMP Introduces Versatile Lab Press
Cleveland, OH: Technical Machine Products, a global manufacturer of presses, mixers and vacuum injection molding systems, has recently introduced a versatile and affordable laboratory press.
Available with temperature ranges up to 1000 degrees F, the TMP lab press is designed as a convenient table-top model, or can be provided with a custom designed machine base.
Various sizes, up to 75 tons, are available with platen sizes from 6" to 18". The lab presses can be provided with electric, steam or oil heat, and with a water cooling option. Controls are PC based and allow real time data acquisition storage, and systems interface.
In addition to standard lab models, TMP offers several unique options for specialized material testing. A liquid silicone injection system can be incorporated for testing LIM applications. In addition, the presses can be designed with a vacuum enclosure that eliminates entrapped air, moisture, and volatiles. The TMP lab presses can also be designed to operate in various gaseous atmospheres, including hydrogen, nitrogen, and other gases as tests or applications require.
