New p-s Labeling System from Weber is Specifically Engineered to Handle Cylindrical Products
Arlington Heights, IL-Weber Marking Systems, Inc., has introduced its exclusive Alpha 86 Bottle Wrap system, which provides the fast, accurate application of pressure-sensitive labels to cylindrical containers like bottles, jars and cans.
In-bound products are properly spaced along the system's six-foot chain conveyor by employing an integrated metering wheel. Products travel down the line to a wipe-on label applicator that securely attaches the label, followed immediately by a wrap station that completes the label application.
The system is capable of a maximum label dispense speed of up to 2400 inches of label web per minute, along with a label placement accuracy tolerant to 0.03". Cylindrical products from one inch to six inches in diameter can be accommodated using the unit's adjustable guide rails.
The reliability and accuracy of the system can be attributed to its microprocessor controls, which ensure repeatable settings and permit constant monitoring. Heavy-duty casters enable the entire Alpha 86 Bottle Wrap unit to be rolled and locked into place virtually anywhere.
