KMF Metals Announces Polishing Capabilities to 20,000 lb
KMF Metals Inc, of Oak Creek WI, has now added capabilities for polishing parts weighing up to 20,000 lbs. Work of this size is handled through an overheard crane system installed in the workshop. This allows KMF to polish metal parts up to 20,000 lbs. It also simplifies the polishing of parts which are large in size and often difficult to maneuver.
Mark Falvey, Vice President of KMF Metals, says, 'We have done specialty polishing work of every type and size. In fact, one of our jobs is on "display" in the Smithsonian. It is a 20 foot diameter ring in the rotunda of the new American Indian Museum. We work hard to remain current with these kinds of innovations. They give us the ability to react quickly and to handle specialty jobs which few others in the country are even willing to look at. We have also polished 25 foot long, 10 inch square structural beams."
