The W. Series 4-Key Keypad
EAO, the expert in Human Machine Interfaces, introduces another keypad to their product line protected by stainless steel for increased reliability in public applications and harsh industrial environments - The W.Series 4-Key Keypad.
Over the past several years, EAO has introduced a family of rugged, sealed, anti-vandal stainless steel keyboards, pointing devices (trackball and touch pad), and keypads suitable for harsh industrial applications, access control, security, ticketing machines and many other outdoor environments. By meeting IP67 sealing standards, these products are ideal for applications requiring durability with rough user interface applications such as process control equipment and portable mobile machinery/equipment used outdoors.
Boasting virtually identical characteristics to EAO's sealed mechanical keyboards, the W.Series keypads also offer the option of LED illumination. Anti-vandal features, including anti-pull off keys, make these units appropriate for both high-use public applications along with heavy-duty commercial use.
The W.Series contains a type of silicone membrane which incorporates a built-in sealing lip allowing this product to be oil and watertight from the front panel when properly mounted.
Customization is possible via laser engraved legends, a choice of LED illumination, and double-sized keys. Characteristics including custom layout configurations, high shock resistance, anti-vandal features, and a key life cycle minimum of 4 million actuations make these keypads sufficient for the banking/ATM market and kiosk/POS applications as well.
