Dortronics Introduces New Electric Key Switch Line


New 5240 Series Key Switches Available In Several Configurations.

New Orleans, LA (Sept. 15, 2003) - Dortronics Systems, Inc. is displaying the company's new line of electric key switches here at ASIS 2003. The new 5241 Series Electric Key Switches are designed to restrict the use of electrically operated entrance control systems, alarms, electric locks and other devices to key carrying personnel. The units are ideal for guard applications and for providing authorized personnel with access to facilities after hours. Multiple configurations with LEDs and push buttons are available, as well as custom engraved graphics on the brushed stainless steel plates.

Dortronics Systems new 5241 Series Electric Key Switches are available with a variety of contact outputs including SPNO, SPDT and DPDT. Key operation may be supplied as key removable in either or both positions depending on the application. Switch
contacts are rated for 3 amps at 125VAC or 28VDC. Push buttons come standard as SPDT momentary action and can be changed to meet virtually any requirement.

Multiple key switches and push buttons with one to three color coded LEDs are available in two gang, one gang and narrow gang plate units. Double throw switches may be substituted instead of the standard single pole provided. Maintained push button
or toggle switches may also be substituted in place of the standard momentary push buttons.
