Kenexa to design customized assessment for U.K. team

LONDON and WAYNE, Pa., Nov. 8 / - Kenexa® (NASDAQ:KNXA), a leading provider of recruitment and retention solutions, today announced that they have been selected by McDonald's to design a customized assessment for the recruitment of its entire U.K. and Northern Ireland team of hourly-paid staff.

Each year the organization receives over 400,000 applications for its crew, customer care, and maintenance positions and this new assessment will become an integral part of the 'Hire the Smile' recruitment process for the organization's 1,225 U.K.- and Northern Ireland-based restaurants.

The assessment will measure candidates against the key competencies necessary for a successful career at McDonald's namely: customer engagement, personal interaction, teamwork, and speed and accuracy.
