Cooper Crouse-Hinds® Introduces Labor Saving "Pre-Fabricated" 4-inch Square Boxes
SYRACUSE, NY - Cooper Crouse-Hinds® now offers significant labor and material savings by combining its patented Uni-Mount(TM) cover, 4-inch square box, ground screw and 8-inch insulated copper ground lead, pre-fabricated & ready for installation. By simply attaching the "Pre-Fabricated" box to the steel or wood stud, you can complete the job quickly and easily.
Designed for use with metal or wood studs, the "Pre-Fabricated" box replaces old mounting methods in 2-inch to 12-inch metal, 2 ½-inch to 12-inch wood and 1 ½-inch channel stud walls. The "pre-fabricated" box is available with a single or two-device cover in ½-inch, 5/8-inch or ¾-inch raised cover mounted to a 1 ½-inch or 2 1/8-inch deep 4-inch square box and is UL listed. The patented Uni-Mount cover design eliminates the need for far side support: guide tabs and stud alignment holes insure consistent alignment and mounting height for easy, consistent installation.
The "Pre-Fabricated" box also eliminates the need to stock and assemble multiple parts. No need for a separate mounting bracket, far side support, ground screw or lead to install.
