New Additions Answer Industry Call For Small, Economical Megapixel Cameras.
Las Vegas, NV - Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has started volume production of its new series of compact JPEG cameras in 1.3, 2, 3 and 5 megapixel formats. On display today at ISC West, these cameras are designed to address cost sensitivities in the JPEG market as well as the size constraints of environmental housings.

Although the compact cameras are approximately half the size and one-third lighter than their MegaVideo® full size counterparts, the new line offers identical picture quality, frame rates, image processing and most core functions as the full size units, with the exception of no auxiliary power and no auto iris option. These cameras are available at significantly lower price points, without sacrificing performance.
