Join Metcal's UK Team at Southern Manufacturing
CHANDLERS FORDÂ – Metcal today announced plans to exhibit in the Solder Connection Stand B80 at Southern Manufacturing Electronics, scheduled to take place Feb. 10-12, 2015 in Farnborough, Hampshire.
Company representatives will demonstrate Metcal’s Scorpion Rework System with Automatic Placement Package (APR-1200A-SRS-MOB), capable of 50mm of motorized travel in the Z-axis and a full 360° in ϴ (Theta). The system offers fine motor control in the Z-axis and ϴ during alignment of the component to the pad. The SmartPlace Technology vision system features a dual, full color HD camera with a selectable camera view. It also provides diffused LED lighting for shadow-free component alignment.
Additionally, Solder Connection representatives will discuss Metcal’s Hand Soldering Desoldering, Hot Air Rework and Fume Extraction range, including the MX5200, MX500, MFR1100, MFR2200, MFR1350, HCT120, HCT900, BVX101 and BVX201 systems.
