Airena Launches AirSet Java Mobile Phone Client

PLEASANT HILL, Calif., Sept. 6 -- Airena, Inc., a Web services and mobile software company, today announced the launch of its AirSet Java mobile client.

AirSet enables busy people to keep their overlapping work and home lives organized and in control, using a suite of shared Web & mobile applications. Users selectively share calendars, contacts and lists with friends, family, colleagues and social groups and access their data from PCs and mobile phones.

A Survival Kit for Busy People

AirSet is ideal for small businesses, families, working mothers, entrepreneurs -- anybody juggling lots of competing obligations and struggling to keep themselves and others coordinated and in sync.

"AirSet is a survival kit for busy people," said Airena SVP of Business Development, Lee Llevano. "The launch of our Java mobile client represents another important tool in that kit, with support for 95 handset models used on the Cingular and Sprint PCS wireless networks. It joins our BREW client, launched in December of 2005, and enables us to support the vast majority of popular mobile handsets."

Transforms Ordinary Mobile Phones into Networked Smartphones

AirSet's Java and BREW mobile clients transform ordinary mobile phones into networked smartphones by synchronizing with the AirSet Web service, to provide users full access to their data on the go. AirSet enhances existing productivity solutions and provides free desktop synchronization to Microsoft Outlook and Palm Desktop.

Among the benefits of the AirSet Mobile Client:
o Anytime, anywhere access to AirSet group calendars, contacts and lists.
o Over-the-air sync with everyone in a group: Re-schedule a meeting, add a contact, edit a list -- and those changes get synched instantly to everybody in a group.
o Peace-of-mind backup of AirSet Mobile data to AirSet's secure website.

Those with Java-enabled handsets can register for a free one-month trial of AirSet Mobile at airset.com/AirSet.jsp#app.Extras . At the conclusion of the free trial, pricing options are $4.99 a month, $11.99 for three months (20% savings) or $35.99 for an entire year (40% savings). The AirSet Web service continues to be free.

Consumers with BREW-enabled handsets can also download a commercial version of AirSet Mobile. A full listing of supported handsets and carriers can be found at www.airset.com.
