J. J. Keller's Hazard Communication and Lockout/Tagout Training Programs Now Available in Spanish

Neenah, WI - J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has introduced Spanish versions of two workplace safety training programs: Hazard Communication: Regulation & Risk and Lockout/Tagout: Your Key to Safety.

Each program uses a risk scenario approach to introduce employees to hazards that threaten the safety of the video's characters. This approach helps keep employees involved, wondering what might happen next and learning critical topic concepts and practices along the way.

Hazard Communication: Regulation & Risk explains how to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs). It also covers the use of labels; employee information and training; the Hazardous Chemical Inventory; the written hazcom program; and tips for staying safe on the job.

Lockout/Tagout: Your Key to Safety provides a demonstration of a complete lockout procedures from shut-down to start-up, concentrating on the areas of proper shutdown and deactivation of residual energy from all sources. The program also covers lockout at shift changes, group lockout, lock and tag requirements, multiple lockout, and staying safe on the job.

Along with the Spanish-language video (available on DVD and VHS), each program includes Spanish-language components: an instructor's guide that provides background information, training tips, 11 employee handbooks with an employee receipt for proof of training; and an awareness poster that reminds employees of key concepts. Additional copies of these materials, to train more employees, are available separately. A "Trainer Tools" CD-ROM is also included and contains transparency masters, quizzes with answer keys, and clip art that allows companies to customize training sessions (Materials can also be used as is.)

Hazard Communication: Regulation & Risk (270-DVD-S) and Lockout/Tagout: Your Key to Safety (328-DVD-S) are available on DVD for $345 each. Both programs are also available on VHS: Hazard Communication: Regulation & Risk (270-K-S) and Lockout/Tagout: Your Key to Safety (328-K-S) for $279 each.
