Offering Delivers Stylish and Affordable Mobile Messaging Solution to the Turkish Market
3GSM WORLD CONGRESS, BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 15 /-- IXI Mobile, developer of the Ogo family of messaging devices solutions for the mass market, and e-kolay.net, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Turkey, today announced the launch of Ogo(TM) in Turkey. Ogo has been on sale in select locations and is now available throughout the country.
Ogo delivers a true on-the-go mobile messaging experience with its full screen, QWERTY keyboard, easy-to-use interface, and clamshell design. The Turkish version offers Instant Messaging (IM) via MSN Messenger, email through MSN Hotmail as well as POP3 and IMAP4 email, SMS, and an optimized RSS client for information such as news, sports, finance and movies. To support Ogo, IXI Mobile provides a turn-key solution, including the device, all necessary gateways and backend servers, launch services, and over-the-air (OTA) email and RSS provisioning.
Ogo, which features MSN Hotmail and MSN Messenger and operates on the Telsim and Avea GSM/GPRS networks in Turkey, was brought to market by Mobicom, IXI's distributor in Turkey, and e-kolay.net who markets and sells the device to consumers. e-kolay.net is the ISP brand of Dogan Online (DOL), a subsidiary of Dogan Yay.n Holding (DYH), Turkey's leading media-entertainment conglomerate with operations in newspaper, magazine and book publishing, television and radio broadcasting, printing and new media.
