SANTA FE SPRINGS, California — Enhance Technology, Inc. today announced immediate availability of its ES2000 iSCSI and FC (Fibre Channel) storage solutions that integrate new hardware and improved software capabilities to their industry leading ULTRASTOR® Family of products. ES2000 delivers up to 2X more performance, 100% more capacity and greater efficiency than the previous ULTRASTOR® RS solutions. Based on the ULTRASTOR® GEN4 storage platform, the ES2000 includes DXE™ (performance optimization) hardware technology designed to deliver accelerated performance at the system level by reducing host resource utilization. The new ES2000 is now available in 6-port 1GbE iSCSI and quad-port 16Gb/s Fibre Channel models.

The ES2000 series combines a high efficiency 3RU, 16 disk enclosure with enterprise-grade components for added reliability.  A new GEN4 storage controller provides 50% more processing power and adds hardware-based I/O acceleration to meet the demands of today’s mixed workload IT environments.
