Interplex Sunbelt Offers Flex Circuit Assembly with Custom Connector Design


Tamarac, Florida - Interplex Sunbelt Inc., a world class supplier of precision components and assemblies and a division of Interplex Industries, Inc. announced today that it has added the application development and high-volume production of Flex Circuit Assemblies with Custom-Designed Connectors to its menu of engineered solutions.

Interplex Sunbelt's new offering focuses on flex circuit assemblies where application-specific or "custom" connectors and interconnects are required, giving customers a unique "One Stop Shop" for the development and production of the entire flex circuit assembly. The company supports the customer from concept/design and quick-turn prototype builds through high-volume production. In addition, the company offers complete supply change management and procurement of all purchased components.

Interplex Sunbelt's Flex Circuit Assembly capabilities include RoHS-compliant wave soldering and SMT, no-clean and aqueous flux processes, leaded solder, automated component placement and attachment, automated testing, automated inspection, conformal coatings and adhesives specific to moisture sealing applications and specifically designed high volume palletized assembly. Automated contact insertion and secondary lead forming are also available.

The company is marketing this new capability to the communications, electronics, industrial, medical and automotive industries, with an emphasis on Medical electronic devices.
