Sage Software's History of Customer Service, Ability to Handle Large Volume Key Factors in Selection
TAMPA, Fla. - January 8, 2007 - Sage Software Healthcare Division, formerly Emdeon Practice Services, today announced that Internal Medicine Associates (IMA), a 62 provider practice based in Bloomington, Ind., has selected Intergy EHR by Sage to improve efficiencies and better manage their rapidly increasing number of patient records. Over the past several years, IMA has grown exponentially. The practice now manages over 1,000 encounters per day, and issues over 26,000 bills per month. With their growth phase, IMA needed a very robust, Windows-based product to help manage volume and maintain the high quality of service the community has come to rely on.
Intergy EHR by Sage Version 3.5 - a CCHITSM Certified product - will allow IMA to manage virtually all aspects of their clinical data, including tasks, lab results, images, transcription and more. Providers will also be able to share this information across the practice's nine sites, thereby making it easier to access patient data. The increased efficiencies in managing patient information will enable physicians to spend more time with patients.
