TAMPA, Fla. - January 8, 2007 - Sage Software Healthcare Division, formerly Emdeon Practice Services, today announced that Internal Medicine Associates (IMA), a 62 provider practice based in Bloomington, Ind., has selected Intergy EHR by Sage to improve efficiencies and better manage their rapidly increasing number of patient records. Over the past several years, IMA has grown exponentially. The practice now manages over 1,000 encounters per day, and issues over 26,000 bills per month. Intergy EHR by Sage Version 3.5 - a CCHITSM Certified product - will allow IMA to manage virtually all aspects of their clinical data, including tasks, lab results, images, transcription and more. The increased efficiencies in managing patient information will enable physicians to spend more time with patients.
