Offering handheld portability and pushbutton-ease, the 61-795 is designed to perform routine checking of electrical insulation to spot breakdowns before they result in injury or equipment failure. With its multiple test voltages (250/500/1000V) and CAT IV-600V safety rating, the 61-795 can be used to determine the integrity of cables in new and existing power systems, generators, switchgear and motor windings. It has an insulation test range of 0.001 to 4000MΩ, allowing it to be used with utmost accuracy in residential and commercial settings. In addition, it offers timesaving testing of AC/DC voltage (0.1 to 600V), resistance (0 to 200.0Ω), and continuity (0.01 to 20.00Ω). Measurements are read on a backlit digital display with analog bar graph.
Other value adding features of the 61-795 include: auto discharge, auto ranging, low battery indication and a protective rubber boot.
