Checking Quality on Rotary Labeler Lines
The Canalyzer Model KLI is the name of a new introduction from Care Controls, Inc. A new multi-tasking label inspection device assures quality and correctness on rotary labeling lines for virtually all bottled or canned products.
The Canalyzer KLI integrates with any existing rotary labeler, the only component using any in-line conveyor space is the
eject mechanism. The KLI unit mounts directly inside the labeler's enclosure. The KLI makes use of several sensing
technologies to inspect cans for label defects including: Dog-eared labels, flapping labels, label presence, skew and label
looseness. With the addition of an optional barcode module, the KLI will read the barcode on each container to insure the
proper label is being applied.
Controls for the KLI mount to the labeler near the existing labeler control. This allows one operator to be able to easily
run both machines. The KLI is easy to setup and can be quickly changed over between different style and size containers. The KLI controls have many built in training functions that eliminate the need for constant adjustment.
