Hoffer Clamp-On Series Turbine Insertion Flowmeters
Hoffer Flow Controls is now offering a new line of inexpensive clamp-on insertion turbine flowmeters. Designed as an alternative to the plastic paddle wheel type flowmeters, this insertion type offers a rugged stainless steel construction and long-life hybrid ceramic ball bearings. This series offers the user a much higher return on investment over time when compared to the traditional plastic paddle wheel design.
The clamp-on flowmeters are offered with additional bearing choices including tungsten carbide and hard carbon composite sleeve. Construction of the clamp-on saddle is offered in CPVC, stainless steel or ductile iron dependent upon pressure and flow media compatibility. Flow measurement for pipe sizes up to and including 8" are available.
