Firth Sterling Drilling Blanks feature pre-formed facets, which require minimal grinding and are available in five sizes ranging from 3/8 inch to 1-3/8 inch.
The spade drill inserts are available in two styles FS (blank) and FS-N (chip groove), in two grades of high-speed steel (F4, F4-2) and in two carbide grades (H81, H91). The FSN style features a pressed-in locator slot to reduce finishing time.
These spade drill blanks are designed specifically to fit Allied drill bodies.
