Innovative Sustainable Precast Products

Precast Specialties Corp. - Makes a double play with sustainable products that are made in your own backyard.

Abington, MA - Sustainability has become a top priority at Precast Specialties Corp, (PSC) in Abington, MA. The company, founded in 1927, is pioneering the production of innovative sustainable precast products that meet the needs of many regional builders. In-depth industry experience coupled with the company's central New England location, makes PSC the perfect choice for architects, engineers, contractors and environmental planners looking for sustainable precast building materials manufactured close to home.

The company is delivering innovative products to customers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, eastern Connecticut and southern New Hampshire, who are building in a competitive market where steel, wood and gas prices are on the rise everyday. With climate change, energy efficiency demands and skyrocketing fuel prices topping their list of concerns, PSC is committed to developing a quality product that exceeds expectations.

"We go the extra mile for our customers. We provide precast that is durable, energy efficient and weather resistant, with a twist of creativity," says John D'Amelio, President. "Architects and builders also appreciate the fact that all of our products are custom designed and manufactured in our local APA certified manufacturing facility."

Recently, PSC partnered with THERMOMASS® building insulation systems, to manufacture a hybrid precast panel that helps maintain acceptable moisture and temperature levels in buildings. These panels will help impede mold and mildew growth within the structure walls. As an added measure, the insulated wall mass contributes to superior sound dampening. The products are in the final testing stage and set to hit the market in early fall.

"We're on our way", says D'Amelio, "With new products in testing, we're focused on providing New England with a new generation of sustainable building solutions."
