Mountain View, CA...Fernqvist Labeling Solutions has added the VP 2020 full color label/bar code inkjet printer to the Fernqvist line of label/bar code printing systems. The VP 2020 provides high-quality digital four color process printing on labels.
The VP 2020 Printer uses inkjet technology by Hewlett Packard. It allows onsite digital label printing for day-to-day operations in nearly any environment and prints clean color labels as needed with quantities from a few to thousands per day.
The VP 2020 Printer prints labels in widths up to 6" on media up to 6.15" wide at a maximum rate of 3,180 labels per hour. Print resolution is 600x600 or 600x300 dpi.
ThL VP 2020 Printer's standard features include backlit display, indicator lights and operator menu. Special features are manual stock cutter module and internal web page for supplies forecasting and diagnostics. User interaction occurs through the internal web page with a standard internet browser and e-mail via the printer driver.
Built-in operating memory in 8MB Flash and is expandable to 32MB (SIMM Module). 64 SDRAM is provided and the printer is expandable to 128MB RAM memory.
The VP 2020 Printer cabinet is metal construction. The printer dimensions are 18.00"H x 24.00"W x 17.00"D and weight is 94.21 lbs.
FLS VP 2020 Printer printing system is available now. The system is $6950 and includes printer, 14 ml ink (350 ml each cyan, magenta, yellow and black), parallel or serial cable, installation and training, and toll-free technical support.
