Trident Launches 768Jet Ink Jet Printhead Capable of Printing 4 Inch Graphics On Corrugated Boxes
Printhead launched at WestPack enhances the branding power of secondary packaging.
Brookfield, CT. (February 19, 2003)- Trident®, a leading designer and manufacturer of ink jet printheads, launched a new printhead at WestPack 2003 capable of producing 4" images, the tallest in the direct-to-carton ink jet market. The new Trident-powered(TM) 768Jet(TM) printhead is specially designed for carton labeling, bar coding and graphics imaging.
"The 768Jet will have an important impact on the secondary packaging industry, " said Steve Liker, Trident's Director of Marketing. "The ability to print 4" graphics has great potential for increasing the branding power of secondary packaging. This is especially true in wholesale retail store environments where products are often displayed in the corrugated boxes they were delivered in."
The 768Jet printhead features a stainless steel printing orifice and durable design to allow the printhead to consistently print accurate, verifiable barcodes and quality graphics in even the most rugged of industrial environments.
