Press Release Summary:
Offered with open and conventional tips made of molybdenum alloy, Multi Shot Z10325/...ff Series is available in 4 lengths with 2, 4, and 6-shot nozzles and pitch circle diameters of 20, 25, 32, and 40 mm. Every nozzle tip is sealed individually in injection gate bubble with sealing cap made of MurSeal. Expansion differences between cold and hot compounds are compensated for by elasticity of sealing cap material. Even temperature profile guarantees consistent quality.
Original Press Release:
New Multi-nozzle Concept with Direct Tip Sealing
The new HASCO multi-shot series, Multi Shot Z10325/...ff, solves many of the problems typical of other multi-shot concepts with a totally new kind of seal for the nozzle tips.
Every nozzle tip is sealed individually in the injection gate bubble with a sealing cap made of a special plastic (MurSeal). This individual sealing brings many advantages.
Low volumes of plastic in the gate chamber with excellent flow allow for very fast material and colour changes. The projected surface under stress from the injection pressure is minimised, considerably reducing the force effects on the nozzle and the mould insert, thus prolonging the life of both the nozzle and the mould.
Expansion differences between cold and hot compounds are compensated for by the elasticity of the sealing cap material. Even nozzles with large pitch circle diameters can be assembled in the cold state. The days of torn brittle sealing caps are over with this type of seal.
An optimised gate bubble and tip geometry allows for very small shot diameters and an excellent optical quality of the gate vestige on the article.
The front centring of the HASCO-Multi-Shot in the cavity plate or in the mould insert takes place with a titanium element, so excessive heat dissipation is avoided. An even temperature profile guarantees a safe production process and a consistent quality of the injection mouldings.
The Multi Shot nozzle series is available with open and conventional tips made of a special molybdenum alloy. 2, 4 and 6-shot nozzles with pitch circle diameters of 20, 25, 32 and 40 mm and four different lengths are available as standard parts.
