New Digi-Sense® IR Thermometer with Type K Input



Vernon Hills, Ill., January 19, 2005-Cole-Parmer Instrument Company introduces the new Digi-Sense infrared thermometer with type K thermocouple input and Class II laser sighting for measuring and displaying non-contact and contact temperatures simultaneously.

Unit features a distance-to-target ratio of 11:1, with an adjustable emissivity range of 0.1 to 1 for a wider selection of surface measurements. The backlit LCD simultaneously displays the current temperature in °F or °C, the preselected emissivity, the laser scan, and battery life icons. Other features include min/max and average, min/max differential, lock function for continuous measurement, high and low audible and visual alarm limits, automatic data hold, and auto off.

Measures temperatures as high as 1999°F (1400°C) or as low as -76°F (-60°C) with an accuracy of ±2% non-contact (±1% thermocouple). Thermocouple not included.
