Mikron Infrared, Inc. has added a new low cost, high performance infrared temperature sensor ideal for OEM applications to its extensive line of non-contact temperature measuring instruments. The MI-N3000 is a small and compact temperature sensor that can be used in multiple locations to detect hot spots on moving material. It can be used on dryers, conveyor belts and webs and in thermoforming operations to sense temperature variation. The MI-N3000 is ideal for plastics, rubber, wood, paper, textile, glass and ceramic, paint, varnish, asphalt and food applications.
