Saline, MI - May 24, 2002 - Xycom Automation, Inc., a subsidiary of Pro-face America, Inc. and a market leader in Industrial PCs, introduces a powerful combination of performance and features with the new Pro-face brand PS-G industrial panel computers bundled with InduSoft Web Studio Software. This new product offering combines the best of proprietary operator interfaces with those of an Industrial PC.
The Pro-face brand PS-G/InduSoft Web Studio bundle offers many features OEMs and end-users have come to expect, including high reliability, quick start up, Ethernet and USB connectivity, a

Pro-face brand PS-400G and PS-600G units are available with 7.4 inch VGA or 12.1 inch SVGA TFT LCD flat panels respectfully. Both units have integrated touchscreen front panels that meet
IP65f and NEMA 4x/12 ratings. Ideal for all aspects of factory automation, these units also contain a Hitachi SH4 200 MHz CPU, Ethernet, USB, 32 MB of Flash ROM, 32 MB of SDRAM, and an externally accessible CompactFlash(TM) site with 48 MB installed.
InduSoft Web Studio is a powerful suite of automation software tools, with scalable building blocks for developing everything from a man-machine interface (MMI) that runs on palm-sized
computer to a full-featured SCADA system running on the largest Pentium or RISC workstation. It can be set up to supervise small machine controls or to build a very large, networked distributed
control system for automation or process control. Its open connectivity to other Windows-based software systems makes it an ideal system for communicating with MES, ERP, or other management systems.
