Industrial Intel® Atom(TM) Mini-ITX Motherboards Feature Ultra Power Savings and Rich I/O Connections
Irvine, California, March 4th, 2009 - Advantech is happy to announce production of its first Intel® Atom(TM) industrial grade Mini-ITX motherboard. The AIMB-210, with an Intel® Atom(TM) N270 CPU, features a super low-power design, but without sacrificing performance. Rich connectivity with up to eight USB 2.0 and six COM ports is integrated in a standard 170 x 170 mm form factor. Even better, this motherboard supports dual display for LVDS, CRT and TV-out.
Low Power Design
The AIMB-210 incorporates an Intel® Atom(TM) 45nm processor (N270 1.6GHz CPU with TDP only 2.5W), is designed to enable space-efficient solutions with a power saving feature. Equipped with the Intel® 945GSE chipset, total power consumption comes in at around a mere 14 W. The AIMB-210 has a 533 MHz Front Side Bus and up to 2 GB of DDR2 533 SDRAM.
Maximum Connectivity with Minimum Resources
The AIMB-210 comes with exciting expandability. CompactFlash, PCI bus, six COM ports, eight USB ports and 16-bit GPIO enable easy integration with customer applications. A dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port is also available to deliver high speed networking. All of this connectivity is packed into a space-saving, power-efficient and cost-effective Mini-ITX form factor.
Dual Display Support
With Intel's integrated Extreme Graphics 2 controller, the AIMB-210 features integrated 3D graphics and video capability with up to 224 MB of graphics memory. The AIMB-210 supports dual display with multiple display types, such as CRT + LVDS, TV-Out + LVDS, or LVDS1 + LVDS2 (optional) with TV-out via S-Video / Composite Video connections. Video output is complemented by HD audio for a complete audio/visual solution.
