The latest industrial ATX motherboard IMB205 equipped Intel® Q57 Express Chipset and performs extreme computing power and excellent graphics performance
Taipei, Taiwan, -- Axiomtek Co., Ltd. today is pleased to introduce IMB205 ATX motherboard, designed for the new Intel® Core(TM) i7, Core(TM) i5 and Core(TM) i3 processors in the LGA1156 socket with 8MB Intel® Smart Cache, Hyper-Threading technology, Turbo Mode, QuickPath, DDR3 1066/1333 memory, and PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot. Incorporating Intel® Q57 Express chipset, the IMB205 powered by the Intel® Core(TM) i7, i5, and i3 processors supports Intel® Turbo Boost technology² and Intel® Hyper-Threading technology (Intel® HT technology) which boost computing performance up to 30% better than Eaglelake platform and increase 3D performance 1.5 ~ 2x. Moreover, the high C/P value motherboard with rich application interfaces and flexible I/O connections is an all-in-one embedded solution for DVR, digital security surveillance, gaming machine, visual inspection instruments, and video server.

The IMB205 comes with rich expandability including one PCIe x16, one PCIe x4, two PCIe x1, and three 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slots. Four DIMM socket slots on board implement up to 16GB DDR3 memory at speeds of 1066/1333MHz. Six serial ATA-II ports integrated RAID 0, 1, 10 and 5 function with transfer rates up to 3 Gb/s. Moreover, the ATX motherboard features a wealth of I/O ports, including four USB 2.0 ports and headers for eight more USB 2.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four COM ports (3 x RS-232 & 1 x RS-232/422/485), DisplayPort, VGA, HD audio, iAMT, TPM and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. The built-in Watchdog Timer (1~255 seconds/minutes) keeps system running smoothly.
