New 14.4-Volt Cordless Impact Wrenches Introduced By Milwaukee Electric Tool

Brookfield, WI (April 2002) - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation's new 14.4-volt, cordless impact wrenches are powerful, delivering up to 117 ft-lbs. of torque, and lightweight, allowing the user to work longer with less fatigue. They are equipped with a heavy-duty, die-cast, aluminum gear housing for extreme durability. The impact wrenches are compact, their 7.5" length allows for easy maneuverability in tight spaces
and they are ideal for driving lag screws, fastening and removing bolts or nuts and driving wood screws.
The new impact wrenches are hard hitting and produce up to 2500 impacts per minute with a motor speed of 2200 RPM. This superior performance translates to driving 54% more deck screws, 57% more lag screws and drilling up to 53% more holes per battery charge over comparable products. The combination of long run-time, light weight and compact size makes these ideal tools for deck building, assembly, overhead door installation and fastening applications.
