18-Volt 3/4-Inch Impact Wrench Offers Most Torque At 325 ft.-lbs.
Brookfield, WI Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation's new 18-volt, 3/4-inch cordless impact wrench features 325 ft-lbs. (3,900 in-lbs.) of torque, the highest rating of any cordless impact wrench available. This new level of power allows users to accomplish jobs which were previously impossible with a cordless impact wrench. Now users can remove and install fasteners on large vehicles or equipment, drive large lag bolts or fasteners into concrete or wood, and perform other construction and maintenance fastening operations.
The 18-volt 3/4-inch impact wrench features a variable speed switch for greater user control while tightening or loosening bolts and a speed range of 0-1,350 RPMs. The energy to achieve the 325 ft-lbs. of torque is provided through a new impacting mechanism that provides 2,150 impacts per minute. With ergonomics in mind, the wrench also features great balance, and a soft-grip handle for greater user comfort. The anvil is a Thru-Hole and Hog-Ring style which allows for quick socket changes, or lock the socket in place by utilizing the Thru-Hole with a retainer. Like other Milwaukee 18v cordless tools, this new impact wrench allows users to reverse the battery to get into tight spaces and for better balance when using the tools in overhead applications.
The new cordless impact wrench is available in two versions. Model 9078-20 the impact wrench only. Model 9078-22 includes the impact wrench, two of Milwaukee's Power-Plus 2.4 amp-hour Nickel Cadmium batteries, 120v universal charger, and impact-resistant carrying case. A vehicle charger is available as an accessory that plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter for mobile charging.
