The housings are molded out of an unbreakable 6.6 polyamide, which meets a 94 V-0 flammability rating. The metal bodies are made of a high quality nickel-plated, copper alloy to provide excellent conductivity and minimize corrosion problems. These Terminal Blocks are capable of handling wires as small as 20 AWG and as large as 4/0 AWG at 220 Amps. The New IEC line is manufactured with a universal mounting foot, allowing for direct mounting to either 32mm or 35mm standard DIN rails.
