BMC Introduces Identity Management Solution for Microsoft .NET
HOUSTON, Jan. 30 -- Adding to the company's identity management offerings, BMC Software, Inc. (NYSE:BMC), a leading provider of enterprise management solutions, today announced BMC® Identity Management for .NET, the industry's most complete identity management solution for Microsoft .NET technologies. The solution offers customers operating a .NET environment streamlined end-to-end identity management addressing many of IT's most pressing identity management needs including workflow, directory management, audit, self service, password management, Web single sign-on, and federation. BMC Identity Management for .NET offers customers sizeable cost, time, and resource savings by exploiting tools and resources already available in the Microsoft infrastructure. Additionally, the solution leverages the inherent resources and information across heterogeneous IT environments.

Care New England Uses BMC Identity Management for .NET
Many customers have already improved business services by leveraging BMC Identity Management for .NET to share identity information housed in the .NET infrastructure. Healthcare provider Care New England is implementing BMC Identity Management for .NET to reduce the time it takes to provision and de- provision doctors, nurses, and administrative staff from two weeks to less than two hours. The solution will help decrease patient wait time at each facility by providing doctors faster access to patient information, along with quicker provisioning of medical and administrative staff.
