ICOS Vision Systems Receives 2.3 Million Order for its Solar Cell Inspection

Modules and expects Solar Revenues to more than double in 2008.
Leuven, Belgium - December 3, 2007 - ICOS Vision Systems Corporation NV (Euronext:
IVIS), a leading supplier of inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry, has
received its largest order to date for its solar cell inspection equipment worth 2.3 million Euro from an undisclosed Taiwanese company. The order comprises inspection modules for in line integration on several new solar cell production lines and is scheduled for delivery over the first half of 2008.
This order further illustrates that ICOS has become the world wide standard for solar
cell inspection. Based on our current backlog, we estimate that our solar cell inspection revenue will accelerate in 2008 resulting in revenues from this product family in the a range of EUR 16 to 20 million, which is more than double last year's level, commented Anton De Proft, ICOS' president and chief executive officer. "Our market research sources estimate that the installed production capacity of photovoltaic solar cells will almost quadruple between 2006 and 2010.
