Type "D" Hydrotest Closure
A high pressure hydrotest closure fits on the inside diameter of pipe, tube, and a wide variety of O.E.M. equipment. It eliminates the need to weld or fabricate fixtures for testing or flushing.
Unique "grips" allow the unit to be installed manually with no special tools required. As pressure increases, the "grip" forms a tighter seal.
Made of heat treated, plated carbon steel, with neoprene seals, they are rated for temperatures from -65° F to +250° F. Pressures to 7,000 psi are possible and each unit is hydrotested prior to shipment. Sizes range from 1" to 24" in diameter and are stocked in sizes to 12" diameter for Sch 40 and Sch 80.
