The Clausing/Metal Muncher MM Series is a complete 5-station hydraulic fabrication center offering the capability to perform all common operations - - punching, shearing, coping, notching and forming - - in one machine. The machine includes a punch press, flat bar/plate shear, coper, notcher and angle shear, with an optional round and square shear available. Other options and accessories further extend the machine's capabilities, making the Clausing/Metal Muncher the most versatile hydraulic metal fabricating equipment available.
The MM Series centers are available in a range of sizes from 40-ton to 135-ton capacity. The Clausing/Metal Muncher features two-cylinder/two-person operation, which is a safety feature allowing the punch and shear end to be operated separately, independently or simultaneously at full capacity and speed. Features on most models include adjustable stroke lengths up to 9", up to a 3" ram to accept over-size and special tooling, swing-away stripper for fast punch changing, large throat design permitting special tooling/die sets, a large table that accepts up to a 48" brakeset, foot-activated press cylinder and common height work areas for improved worker productivity. Additional accessories and options are available to meet virtually any production requirement.
