Lexair, Inc. Features the 22J High Pressure Hydraulic Collet Closer, the Second Largest in its Line
LEXINGTON, KY (July 8, 2005) - The 22J Collet Closer from Lexair, Inc., with a 2.25" capacity - the second largest the company manufactures - is the most recent addition to its extensive line of high-pressure hydraulic collet closers.
Operating at a maximum 5,000 psi for heavy-duty clamping in high-pressure applications, the new 22J collet closer's all-steel fixed length design keeps collet and part stable to maintain fixed height from part to part.
Accepting standard 22J collets, the newest in Lexair's wide array of quality workholding products can be used in multiple configurations using connector bushings to reduce both footprint and hose requirements.
The drawtube force is 1.9X line pressure and, like all Lexair collet closers, the 22J has precision-bored orientation holes in the base for easy alignment. A collet wrench is included with every unit. The largest hydraulic collet closer in the Lexair line is the 35J with an impressive 3.5" capacity.
A wide variety of hydraulic piping accessories also are available from Lexair, such as control valves; hydraulic pumps, both air- and electric-operated; accumulators, pallet disconnect handles and collet wrenches.
