Caster Lifts Combine Stability and Portability

ASD announces its caster lift system, which combines industrial duty casters with a unique hydraulic lift system, which allows portable workstations, industrial benches, carts, tool trolleys and many other transport devices to provide positive stability when stationary far exceeding the safety provided by caster locks.

The System Crank 4-HR 1403 D100 (Part No.: 501.10001) from ErgoSwiss AG, consists of four heavy-duty swivel casters with built in hydraulically driven leveling feet. When the hand crank is operated, hydraulic oil is pressed out of the pump and flows through the hydraulic tubing into the connected leveling feet. The system functions independently of load and the four lifting cylinders operate completely synchronously. Each lifting castor is equipped with 39 inches of filled and sealed hydraulic tubing. The tubing can be cut to the required length at installation and easily connected to the pump. The standard system includes four lifting casters, but up to ten lifting casters can be operated with one pump. The polyurethane wheels are made of an injection molded thermoplastic elastomer and has very low abrasion and low rolling resistance. The maximum system load is 660 pounds. with a lift height of 0.6 inches. The system includes connecting hardware, a tube-cutting device, a box wrench along with assembly and operating instructions.
