LOS ANGELES — Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, will present in three sessions at the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Conference and Exposition in the Product Showcase program from Tuesday, March 24 to Thursday, March 26. Huawei will also exhibit its optical fiber products and solutions in Booth #2309 at the event.
WHAT: Dr. Sean Long, Director of PLM for Transmission Network for Huawei USA, will give a presentation titled "Challenges for Metro/Access Network." This presentation will review Huawei's latest solution offering, OSN1800, with a more flexible, flat and big capacity optical network.
Peter Ashwood-Smith, Technical Vice President of Optical Product Line for Huawei Canada, will deliver a presentation titled "Huawei's T-SDN Leadership, Vision, and Solution." This presentation will review Huawei's T-SDN leadership, vision, and solution. Huawei T-SDN solution helps operators build up an ICT converged next generation transport network with unified SDN control over packet and optical transport networks.
Dr. Frank J. Effenberger, Vice President and Fellow, Access RD for Huawei USA, will give a presentation titled "PON Products for Wireless Haul." With wider deployment of small cells, PON has become an increasingly attractive option as an efficient backhaul/fronthaul approach. This presentation will introduce Huawei's innovative products for wireless haul.
