Toyoda Machinery Shows HMC with Vertical Pallet Pool at IMTS 2002
Arlington Heights -- June 1, 2002 -- Toyoda's FA630 horizontal machining center will be paired with a three-level, 15-station vertical pallet pool to demonstrate the company's automated metalcutting technology.
Available in one, two and three level designs, the pallet pool stocks enough work to support an unmanned shift, enabling round-the-clock operation of the machine and fast return on investment. The compact design of a vertical station is the most efficient use of space, solving the problem of fitting a large-capacity pallet pool on the shop floor. Toyoda relies on a modular design and standard horizontal machining centers to allow easy future expansion of the system.
