SALA Introduces The Securaspan® Horizontal Lifeline System

SALA, the world's leading manufacturer solely dedicated to the fall protection market, has announced the launch of the SecuraSpan® horizontal lifeline system, the industry's most economical temporary horizontal lifeline for steel erection.

This new generation of stanchion takes the best features of our current offerings and designs it into one very economical engineered horizontal lifeline system. The anchor point connection of the horizontal lifeline cable system is lightweight and safe and conforms to Australian and New Zealand standards. The unique high strength design allows simple fast and efficient installation and adjustment. Depending on fall clearances, the new system is capable of spanning 18 metres between stanchions. For longer systems, a bypass bracket kit is available turning the standard stanchion into one with bypass capabilities providing ultimate jobsite flexibility.

The standard stanchion will fit 'I' beams that are up to 57mm thick and 305mm wide. Other clamps are available accommodating beams up to 914mm wide.
