Hollow Shaft Encoders are suited for use with motors.

Press Release Summary:

Incremental encoders are equipped with internal coupling that compensates for axial and radial slack of motor shaft to which they are coupled. Available in 4-120 mm hollow shaft sizes, products offer resolutions from 1-900,000 ppr. Select models are designed for use in engine test rooms with up to 20,000 rpm and operating temperatures up to 100°C. Other models are suited for brushless motors, allowing zero search and clamping on motor shaft from rear.

ELCIS Updated Range of Hollow Shaft Encoders for Motors

ELCIS presents his increased and updated range of incremental encoders with hollow shaft, that find an ever-increasing use in industrial applications.

ELCIS know-how on these transducers is evidenced by the number of patents having been registered.

Encoders are equipped with an internal special coupling allowing for compensation of both axial and radial slack of the motor shaft to which they are coupled. This range of incremental encoders with hollow shaft spreads from models with Ã~ 4mm hollow shaft to models with Ã~ 120mm hollow shaft, with resolutions from 1 to 900000ppr according to the model chosen (the Customer can multiply the resolution x2 or x4).

Among this series we mark out interesting models expressly developed to be used on engine test rooms with up to 20000rpm and operating temperature up to 100°C. We also mark up the encoders fit to be used on "Brushless" motors (as the new 48CF) and the new models, patented by ELCIS, that allow zero search and clamping on motors' shaft from the rear side.

ELCIS development department will study particular "custom" versions on request.

ELCIS realizes upon request the encoder assembling on motors supplied by the customers.
