Hollow Shaft Encoder Boasts Over 300,000 Counts
Goleta - The popular HS35 hollow shaft style encoder from BEI now has expanded capability for finer resolution. High resolution is obtained using robust internal interpolation electronics which multiply internal signals with no degradation of overall accuracy. Interpolative multiples of 2X, up to 16X are available for the HS35 incremental hollow shaft encoder providing up to 80,000 cycles per turn. Using standard quadrature detection yields a maximum resolution of 320,000 counts. The inherent reliability and ruggedness of the HS35 coupled with the new interpolative options delivers superior position feedback for control systems.
