1200 hs High Speed CMOS Camera System With On-Board Image Memory



The COOKE Corporation builds on the success of its existing line of CCD cameras with the addition of the 1200 hs High Speed, 10-bit CMOS Camera System.

On-board image memory in camera head
The 1200 hs utilizes novel on-board image memory in the camera head (up to 2GB), providing ultra-fast image recording at 1 GB/s. The 1200 hs has an impressive 1.3 million pixels to provide high speed image capture at high resolution 625 fps @ 1280 x 1024 and 1330 fps @ 640 x 480. Other user-benefits include low noise, fast shuttering and high image contrast. Ideal for imaging high-speed phenomena such as ballistics/ detonics, spray and particle analysis, fuel injection studies, material testing or LIF.

Double-shot sequence feature ideal for PIV applications
The 1200 hs consists of a compact camera head and external intelligent power supply. The camera system is easily adaptable using simple plug and play operation with a choice of standard data interfaces FireWire(TM), Camera Link, USB 2.0 or Ethernet.
Exposure times are user-selectable from 1µs to 100 ms. The Double Shot Sequence provides the capture of two full resolution frames with 100 ns interframe time.
