Redlake's New Multi-Head High-Speed Camera System

SAN DIEGO, CA, September 2004 - Redlake is pleased to announce the addition of HG-TH multi-head, high-speed digital cameras as the newest member of its MotionXtra family of imaging systems. Built upon the advanced technology of the popular HG-100K and HG-LE, the new HG-TH offers a multi-head, high-speed digital imaging solution. The HG-TH features a Redlake-exclusive CMOS sensor, (color or monochrome), with a 752 x 564 resolution at 1000 fps, and even faster performance at lower resolutions. The small, tethered camera heads fit into hard-to-reach locations for capturing high-speed events in university and corporate Research and Development environments. The system can feature one to four camera heads, 2 to 8 GB of memory for up to 19.2 seconds of record time, and 1000Base-T Ethernet for fast downloads. A 5 micro-second electronic shutter eliminates motion blur during the recording of extremely high-speed events. Both the controller and the cameras can withstand forces up to 100G in any axis.

The HG-TH is easy to set up and ready to use with a simple installation of MotionCentral(TM) software and an Ethernet connection. Within minutes the HG-TH identifies itself and presents a live image on your camera control screen. This same ease of use and set-up is available whether for a one-camera system or hundreds of cameras on one network. Since the HG-TH is fully compatible with the HG-100K, HG-LE and prior Redlake HG2000, CR2000, and HG-TX cameras, integration into current camera networks is simple.
