Original Press Release:

High-Speed 2 Megapixel Camera Offers Wide Field of View

JAI PULNiX's TM-2016-15, the newest member of the AccuPiXEL line of cameras, is a 2.1 Megapixel camera with a 1" progressive scan CCD. The camera, which features an LUT, is available in two versions: Camera Link; and LVDS (RS-644). Featuring 1920 x 1080 resolution, both versions include 8-bit digital or optional 10-bit linear output, arranged in a 2K x 1K, 16:9 aspect ratio, and are suited to applications requiring a wide field of view. The TM-2016-15's progressive scan provides full vertical and horizontal resolution at up to 15 frames per second. Two-row binning can be used to achieve 30 frames/sec. The TM-2016-15 features full asynchronous reset with electronic shutter up to 1/10,000 sec or pulse-width exposure control. The asynchronous reset trigger function allows timed image capture and processing. The casing measures 44mm x 44mm x 64mm and accepts standard C-mount lenses.

The TM-2016-15's 2:1 aspect ratio makes it suited to a variety of machine vision applications, including: airborne imaging, head-up displays, ITS (intelligent transportation systems), online inspection, defense, microscopy, medical imaging, PIV/measurement, and motion analysis.
