Bosch Rexroth Service Automation Announces New A4VSO High-Pressure Pumps for HFC Fluids

The new "F"-type A4VSO fluid pumps achieve the same performance data as mineral-oil models and have a longer service life than previous HFC versions.

The new A4VSO high-pressure pump series from Bosch Rexroth's Axial Piston Group achieves the same performance data, including operating pressure and rpms, as Rexroth mineral-oil pump models.

Newly redesigned and specially modified for HFC fluids, these pumps feature a new bearing design and shaft sealing as well as an optimized, anti-cavitation distributor plate that greatly reduces the tendency to cavitate that is normally associated with HFC fluids.

The new A4VSO pumps offer a service life many times higher than previous "E"-version models, assuring lower operation and maintenance costs. This makes the design an ideal MRO service upgrade for existing systems. The HFC-fluid pumps are available in sizes 125, 180 and 250, and are ideal for steel mills, presses, mining, marine and offshore applications. All sizes can run at 1800rpm and 5000 psi on water glycol (HFC), making further performance upgrades an attractive possibility.
