Hypertac Technology is a Drop-In Replacement for ZIF Connectors



Hudson, MA (November 2004) - Specifically designed for test applications requiring frequent mating and unmating, Hypertronics introduces its new HDL high density connectors. HDL connectors are interchangeable with existing ZIF connectors and feature the unique Hypertac socket, providing a self cleaning wiping action and a minimum of 100,000 mating cycles.

Its unrivalled reliability makes the HDL connector ideal for applications such as rack & panel, cable and programming for a variety of markets, but in particular for aerospace testing, medical equipment and industrial test / burn-in applications.

HDL connectors are available in 60, 96 156 way contact sizes and come with a back shell incorporating a universal cable clamp and half turn quick mate device.
