Larson Electronics LLC Releases Explosion Proof High Bay LED Light
Larson Electronics LLC, a leading industrial lighting company, has just announced the addition of a new explosion proof high bay LED light fixture that is spray paint booth approved. This fixture provides a powerful, energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries.
The EPL-HB-25LED-RT is a Class I Division 1 & 2, Class II Division 1 & 2 explosion proof high bay light fixture that produces 2,167 lumens of high quality light, drawing only 25 watts. The LED produces highly accurate colors and details with the help of a 5600K color temperature, and a color rendering index of 75 – much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries. This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz. It is also offered in a low voltage version operating on AC/DC voltages from 11-25 Volts.
This explosion proof LED light fixture is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The powder coated copper-free aluminum alloy body and an unbreakable LED lamp, give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LEDs and electronics, achieving a 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. The entire assembly is very lightweight and has a lower profile making it easier to install and more attractive than larger, heavier fixtures. It is also equipped with 10 feet of abrasion and chemical resistant 16/3 SOOW cable with flying leads, and features 5 3/4" NPT threaded ports for running conduit depending on the installation location.
