Toyoda Introduces New Vertical Machining Center, Ideal for Heavy-Duty Machining of Ferrous Materials

Arlington Heights, IL - Toyoda Machinery introduces its new line of vertical machining centers at IMTS booth A-8018. The BM Series, with 6,000-8,000 RPM geared headstock, is ideal for heavy-duty applications in ferrous materials such as cast iron and steel.

The BM-1200 will be on exhibit at IMTS. The rigid iron base is paired with four Y-axis box guideways to eliminate saddle overhang while the extra-wide column expands machining capability. Many high-torque and direct-drive spindle configurations are available in CAT 40 or CAT 50 tapers.

The high-speed linear guide and boxway VMCs will complement Toyoda's existing line of horizontal machining centers and pallet automation systems. For more information or to see a demonstration of the BM-1200, visit the Toyoda booth A-8018 at IMTS.
