Protex® Launches Heavy Duty Latches at IFPE/CONEXPO/AGG 2008
New latch with up to 14,000 lb load rating suitable for off-highway applications
1 February 2008: Protex Latches - designer and manufacturer of the world's largest single range of over-centre latches - will show its new range of heavy duty products for the first time on booth 51333 in the Green Pavilion at IFPE/CONEXPO/AGG to be held in Las Vegas from 11-15 March.
Protex® has launched a heavy-duty adjustable latch with up to 14,000 lb load rating and measuring 300-350 mm in length, 80 mm wide and 38 mm in height. The new product will be suitable for a variety of off-highway vehicles with 7000-12000 lb rated axles, including medium range trailers, tandem duals, livestock and flatbed goosenecks. Protex® also provides a matching boltable catchplate for the latch.
Also on show will be hundreds of different load rated light, medium and heavy duty draw latches in mild steel RoHS-compliant zinc plate or stainless, including some available in 316 stainless steel - making them particularly suitable for the harsh environments found in construction and off-highway sectors.
In addition, Protex® will highlight its slingable, load rated handles, quick release
hi-torque bandclamps and latches with safety catches - all manufactured to
ISO 9001:2000.
